Head of Representative Office – Belarus

About the role

The Head of Representative Office in Belarus will be the senior country leader responsible for the compliant operation, performance and cross‑functional coordination of AbbVie’s business in the market. Reporting to the CIS Commercial Lead, the role combines strategic planning, portfolio management and external stakeholder engagement to drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated Belarus strategy aligned with regional and global priorities.
• Translate corporate objectives into an annual operating plan, balancing short‑term delivery with long‑term portfolio development.
• Monitor external environment, assess impact on market access and patient care, and escalate material risks.
• Lead cross‑functional teams including commercial, medical, market access, regulatory, finance, legal, compliance, supply chain and public affairs.
• Own overall business performance, forecast, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Drive disciplined execution while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and local legislation.
• Oversee distributor and partner relationships, ensuring proper governance.
• Define portfolio strategy, launch readiness and lifecycle management for assigned products.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Strong understanding of commercial, medical and regulatory functions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement country‑level strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and risk‑escalation skills.
• Track record of managing budgets, forecasts and cross‑functional teams.
