Finance Operations & FP&A Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Operations & FP&A Lead to become the operational backbone of finance in a fast‑moving e‑commerce company. This individual contributor role offers strong process ownership, hands‑on involvement across FP&A, controlling and accounting, and the chance to shape finance operations from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly P&L, budget vs. actual analysis, cash‑flow forecasting and KPI reporting for the COO/CEO.
• Monitor P&L, reconciliations and margin data proactively to identify inconsistencies early.
• Map, refine and document finance processes, closing gaps and tightening controls across internal and external systems.
• Work with multiple systems, outsourced accounting providers and manual workflows, driving automation and improvement.
• Handle payroll operations and ensure accurate finance reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance operations, FP&A or controlling within a high‑growth environment.
• Ability to work with imperfect data and multiple financial systems.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Self‑starter attitude with a builder‑oriented approach.
• Fluent English communication skills.
