Finance Operations & FP&A Lead

About the role

Join a fast‑moving e‑commerce company as the operational backbone of finance. This individual‑contributor role owns management finance, reporting, cash‑flow visibility, payroll operations and finance processes, with strong growth potential toward broader finance leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly P&L, budget vs actual, cash‑flow forecasting and KPI reporting for the COO/CEO.
• Proactively monitor P&L, reconciliations and margin data to catch inconsistencies early.
• Map, refine and automate finance processes, reducing manual work and improving controls.
• Partner with Commercial and Supply Chain on COGS visibility and SKU‑level profitability.
• Oversee payroll and contractor payments via automated tools and external providers.
• Act as financial advisor to Commercial, Purchasing, Operations and Warehousing teams.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, finance operations, audit or controller roles.
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining P&L, cash‑flow, budgets and forecasts.
• Experience working with external accountants, tax advisors or accounting providers.
• Background in multi‑entity, multi‑currency, e‑commerce, retail or logistics businesses is highly preferred.
• Fluent English (C1); Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets and structured reporting.
• ERP or accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Looker, Power BI).
• SQL, Python, Make, Zapier, APIs or similar automation tools.
• Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or similar.
