Manual Mobile QA Engineer (Android & iOS)

About the role

We are looking for a Manual Mobile QA Engineer to join a fast‑growing, high‑traffic B2C mobile application focused on privacy and security. The role is fully remote and part of a small, agile team that values speed and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Validate core user flows such as onboarding, subscription purchase, VPN connection, and server switching on both Android and iOS.
• Test subscription‑based monetisation, including trial activation, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and paywall interactions.
• Analyze crashes and logs using Sentry and reproduce issues.
• Utilise BrowserStack, Charles/Proxyman, and TestRail for cross‑device testing and test‑case management.
• Execute edge‑case scenarios: weak or unstable internet, Wi‑Fi ↔ LTE switches, connection loss, low‑memory conditions, and background‑mode behavior.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on mobile testing experience.
• Proven experience testing B2C mobile products on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Familiarity with subscription models (trial → paid, renewals, cancellations, refunds).
• Understanding of analytics event tracking, attribution, and deep‑link testing (Amplitude, Firebase, AppsFlyer or equivalents).
• Experience validating marketing funnels and A/B test experiments.

Required skills

• Mobile testing tools: BrowserStack, Charles, Proxyman.
• Test management: TestRail.
• Crash analysis: Sentry.
• Analytics platforms: Amplitude, Firebase, AppsFlyer.
• Strong knowledge of iOS and Android operating systems.
