Senior Node.js Developer (Remote)

About the role

Flosum is seeking a senior‑level Node.js engineer to design and ship high‑performance backend services for its enterprise‑grade SaaS platform. The role is fully remote and reports directly to engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable, secure Node.js micro‑services and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Build high‑performance APIs and real‑time data processing pipelines for enterprise customers.
• Create modern front‑end experiences using Vue.js and TypeScript.
• Maintain CI/CD tooling, automation frameworks, and developer productivity infrastructure.

Required profile

• 5+ years of production Node.js development experience.
• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security.
• Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Hands‑on experience with Git, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and infrastructure‑as‑code.
