Deputy Chief Accountant

About the role

The Group "Audient" seeks a Deputy Chief Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting for its construction‑installation subsidiary and provide backup for the trading subsidiary during absences. The role is hands‑on, requiring independent work together with external accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete accounting and tax reporting for the construction‑installation company under the general tax system.
• Perform project‑based (order‑based) cost accounting for multiple small sites.
• Manage warehouse accounting for both physical and virtual inventories.
• Handle contract calculations, staged payments, advances, withholdings, subcontractor settlements and material write‑offs.
• Oversee payroll and HR accounting for 10‑15 employees, including timesheets, accruals, reporting to FSZN and Belgosstrakh, personnel files and vacation processing.
• Account for business trips, including international travel.
• Prepare statistical reports, provisions for doubtful debts and work with electronic invoicing (ЭСЧФ).
• Substitute for the trading company’s accountant during vacations to ensure continuity of calculations and reporting.
• Participate in developing management accounting for plan‑fact analysis per project.

Required profile

• Higher education in accounting, finance, economics or audit.
• Minimum 3 years experience as chief accountant or deputy chief accountant.
• Practical experience in project‑based cost accounting.
• Construction accounting experience on the contractor side.
• Proficiency with 1C “Human Systems” and 1C Accounting for Belarus.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with external accountants; no subordinates at this stage.
• Experience in foreign economic activity (optional but advantageous).
