HD Maps Data Annotator (RAVE I)

About the role

Mapbox is looking for a detail‑oriented individual to join the RAVE I team, focusing on high‑definition map data. You will work with large volumes of satellite imagery and road data to create and improve the content that powers navigation services worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Review and annotate large datasets, marking objects on satellite images according to project specifications.
• Analyze, correct and enrich map data, handling up to several tens of kilometres of roads per week.
• Perform cartographic edits and contribute to map enrichment using specialized GIS tools.
• Maintain high accuracy and quality while processing repetitive tasks.

Required profile

• Proficient English (A2+), able to write clear documentation.
• Strong focus, personal efficiency and ability to work on repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Logical thinking, analytical mindset and ability to identify patterns in large data sets.
• Resilience to stress, quick learning and capacity to switch between projects.
• Team player with good communication skills; able to work onsite during the probation period.

Required skills

• Experience with GIS and cartography.
• Familiarity with OpenStreetMap.
