Middle Manual Mobile QA

About the role

IDT Corporation is looking for a motivated and experienced Manual QA, Mobile to join its DTC Calling team. You will help ensure the quality of the BOSS Revolution App, a mobile application covering international calling, mobile top-up and money transfer services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases and test scenarios for the Calling App and services using different testing techniques and tools.
• Evaluate expected functionality against specifications and requirements.
• Identify system bottlenecks, applying strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and reasoning skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find integration touch points and run integration and end-to-end tests.
• Work closely with developers in a scrum team to get features tested.
• Take a proactive approach to test strategy and plans for new features.
• Support production releases and perform post-release testing.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in manual testing of mobile or backend applications.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including checking application logs with monitoring tools, ADB, Android Studio and XCode.
• Hands-on experience testing REST and/or SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of iOS, Android and OS-related guidelines.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment; excellent written and spoken English (B2 or higher).

Required skills

• API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger and Charles Proxy.
• CI/CD exposure with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Nice to have: automation with Java, Selenium/Appium and RestAssured; telecom domain experience; performance testing with K6 or JMeter.
