Part‑time Remote Peer Reviewer (PhD) for Academic Journals

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers to join our remote peer‑review team on a part‑time basis. As a reviewer you will evaluate scholarly manuscripts submitted to academic journals, ensuring they meet high standards of originality, methodology, and ethical conduct.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty of submitted manuscripts and determine their contribution to the field.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity and validity.
• Provide constructive, written feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least 3 publications in SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals within the past two years and 12 publications over the past ten years.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles.
• Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
