Lead Full-Stack Engineer – Node.js & Vue

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Full‑Stack Engineer to own the architecture and delivery of new restaurant‑facing services on our Point of Sale platform. You will work with a distributed team to build highly scalable, offline‑capable solutions that power thousands of retail locations across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end restaurant services, from data models and APIs to the merchant UI.
• Extend and harden existing production services while maintaining stability.
• Ensure correctness under concurrency, transactional integrity, idempotency, and graceful handling of network drops.
• Build queue‑based and event‑driven processing pipelines, background jobs, and safe release rollouts.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to shape features, not just implement specifications.
• Provide technical direction, conduct code reviews, and mentor other engineers.

Required profile

• 8+ years of full‑stack development experience, including senior technical ownership.
• Deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript across both backend and frontend.
• Strong understanding of REST API design, microservices, and relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• Proven ability to debug complex production failures and reason to root cause.
