Map Quality & Insights Analyst (Indoor Mapping)

About the role

Mapbox is looking for a detail‑oriented analyst to support indoor mapping data quality. You will work with QGIS to edit and verify geospatial data, ensuring high‑precision maps for our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, create and edit data in QGIS, performing mapping tasks and corrections with high accuracy.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on geospatial data, identify errors and report them via Jira.
• Research online sources to verify data accuracy when needed.
• Detect patterns in data quality issues and automate related processes.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of data precision.

Required profile

• Proficiency in QGIS for data editing; scripting experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to identify patterns in large datasets.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication (minimum B1 level).
• Ability to work independently, reason logically and handle stress in a fast‑changing environment.
• Team player with high communicative skills and strong attention to detail.
