QA Engineer Internship – Web Automation Testing

About the role

As a QA Engineer Intern at MKS Atotech Minsk you will join the Business Process Automation Development team to ensure the quality and reliability of internal web‑based systems that integrate ERP and CRM functionalities. You will work closely with developers and product owners, reporting to the Lead of Business Process Automation Development.

Key responsibilities

• Test modules of internal automated systems that combine ERP and CRM features.
• Design, write, and execute functional and UI test cases and scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track defects until resolution.
• Verify new features and bug fixes throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in planning, development, and release activities.
• Contribute to up‑to‑date test documentation.
• Communicate daily with the team in English to ensure smooth collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (candidates starting their QA career are welcome).
• Foundational understanding of software testing principles and the QA lifecycle.
• Basic knowledge of how web applications work (client‑server model, HTTP, browsers).
• Good command of English sufficient for daily syncs.
• Ability to write clear, structured test cases and defect reports.
• Full‑time availability, attention to detail, curiosity, and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Familiarity with browser developer tools for inspecting and troubleshooting web pages.
• Basic understanding of testing RESTful/Web API endpoints.
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Understanding of version control (Git).
• Experience with agile development practices.
