Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Node.js & Vue)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help expand our Point‑of‑Sale platform into the restaurant market. You will work on highly‑scalable services that power kitchen displays and staff interfaces used in real‑time order processing.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver new restaurant‑facing services, from data model through API to UI screens.
• Extend and harden existing production services while maintaining stability.
• Ensure correctness under concurrency, offline capability, and safe rollout of releases to tens of thousands of users.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to shape features, not just implement specifications.

Required profile

• 6‑8+ years of full‑stack development experience, including senior technical ownership.
• Strong communication in English and ability to work with distributed teams in the US and Israel.
• Proven debugging skills for complex production failures.

Required skills

• Deep Node.js and TypeScript experience.
• REST API design and micro‑services architecture.
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and non‑relational stores (Redis, MongoDB).
• Queue and streaming technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, BullMQ, etc.).
• Front‑end development with Vue (React or Angular acceptable) and progressive web apps.
• Real‑time interfaces using websockets (socket.io).
• Linux, Git, CI/CD workflows.
