Product Owner (AI / Platform)
idt · Minsk
Job description
About the role
idt is looking for a Product Owner to join its product team in Minsk. You will first own a strategic internal infrastructure initiative, working with engineering on the platform behind the company's communications products. As that initiative matures, you will move on to bringing AI-powered features into customer-facing B2B / B2B2C products. This is not a backlog-management role: you set direction, make hard scope decisions and partner with engineering, design and leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Phase 1: Own the product side of an internal infrastructure initiative, turning business and engineering needs into clear requirements and milestones.
- Run sprint planning and prioritization with engineering, and be the source of truth on scope, status and risks.
- Prepare for weekly technical leadership syncs and establish clear definitions of done.
- Phase 2: Identify opportunities to bring AI into products, define scope and drive delivery from zero to launch.
- Define quality metrics for AI features, including evaluation and error-rate measurement for AI agents, and turn AI capabilities into clear value propositions for sales.
- Define success metrics for each shipped feature, focusing on adoption, conversion and retention.
- Connect with stakeholders, follow up across teams, improve how product and engineering work together, and present strategy and status to leadership.
Required profile
- 4+ years in product management or product ownership, with at least 2 years on AI or ML-powered products.
- B2B SaaS background, ideally in communications, contact centers or enterprise software.
- Track record of building a product or feature from scratch, and hands-on experience measuring AI quality.
- Experience with distributed teams across time zones and fluent English; Spanish is a significant plus.
- Experience with CCaaS / UCaaS platforms (Five9, Talkdesk, Genesys or similar) and optimizing agile ceremonies is a plus.
Required skills
- Strong technical fluency: understanding APIs, LLMs and system integrations without writing code.
- Ability to define scope, write clear requirements and hold teams accountable to delivery.
What we offer
- Remote work for Europe and hybrid employment for Belarus and Moldova.
- Stable job with long-term growth, competitive salary and annual performance review.
- Good hardware, continuous learning and career growth, and paid training, seminars and conferences.
- Referral program and company-supported English classes.
- Extra perks for Minsk and Chisinau office employees.
